19" rack for three eurocards, fitted with two NTP 179-400 limiters and psu.
The VT19-1U/3EC can hold any three 160mm x 100mm eurocards in just one rack unit space. With small adjustments on the front and backplate, different configurations are possible. The design of this brandnew rack-series is very close to the one of the VT19-1U racks for danner-cassettes:
A powder-coated solid metal chassis with a RAL 9005 black finish, logos and switches on the same spots, the same LEDs, etc. The „/3EC“ in the name means the rack can mount up to three eurocards. This explains the difference between these and the other VT19-1U racks which can hold 2-4 danner-cassettes. The same basic VT19-1U/3EC chassis, with different front and back-plates is also used for the Sonic Summarizer (Pro) and the VT19-1U/3EC/ Lawo V976 dual micpreamp. This makes the /3EC very cost effective and open for all other projects based on 160mm x 100mm eurocards.

Features of each VT19-1U/3EC/NTP179-400 Dual Limiter rack:

  • 19" 1u frame made of 3-4mm solid steel.
  • backplate with four Neutrik XLR connectors.?1x psu connector (115V/230V AC)
  • 1x VT2448 psu with 230V AC input (115V on order) and 24V DC/48V DC outputs
  • 2x NTP 179-400 limiters on eurocards. Recapped and serviced
  • all metal parts are "powder-coated" in RAL 9005 (deep black)
  • red LED for power and green LED for link-option
  • power- and stereo-link switch on the frontplate
  • external 8-way rotary switches for each channel to control the recovery time of the limiters
  • as in all our custom racks, the frontplates of the eurocards sit in one even with the racks frontplate
  • 1 year warranty on the rack, psu and limiters
