The ADR Vocal Stresser F769X-R is a monochannel analog outboard device with a microphone amplifier and a variety of settings for EQ and compression. The ADR F769X-R was used in many legendary productions of the 1970s and 1980s. It sounds great on drums and was often used by Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham. Tony Visconti also used this device extensively on the early David Bowie recordings, and William Wittman used it for Cyndi Lauper's vocals on "Girls Just Want To Have Fun" and "Time After Time."

Known as a very useful tool for editing vocals so that they sit in the center of a mix.
