Description

This is a Vintagetools VT7xL rack equipped with two of the legendary TAB U73b tube compressors / limiters from 1960. The consecutive serial numbers are 218 and 219! The chassis is built in 19" / 4U format and manufactured to a very high standard. The rack includes various modifications for the tube modules. You will receive a 1-year warranty on these 65-year-old modules!

Custom-made mains input transformer for this rack with 238V/115V input voltage (according to customer specification) and stable 220V output voltage. The original V7x series was operated with 220V mains voltage, while today’s power grids often supply 235V–239V. Reducing to 220V protects the tubes and ensures lower distortion and the original sound of the unit.
VU meter for gain reduction
Six different release times selectable via rotary switch.
Six different attack times for U73 and U73b as modification.
