AKG C 3700S

The AKG D 3700S microphone was designed for live use on stage and is particularly suitable for vocals and speech. The stereoset offered here comes in mint condition and was only used once, before it was stored for years in a dry locker.

The frequency response has been optimized for vocal use; Hypercardioid polar pattern for high gain before feedback; Transducer protected by integrated double protective cage. The D3700 features an extended frequency response with a slight boost between 3kHz and 15kHz to project vocals in front of tight mixes. Drawing on AKG's expertise, the D3700 combines a high-performance maximum flux neodymium/iron-boron converter and a uniform hypercardioid polar pattern to enable feedback-free working near high-level monitors. The smoothly triangulated PowerGrip body fits perfectly in the hand and the robust body with Iso-Damp internal suspension guarantees reliability under the toughest touring conditions. The built-in windshield is easily removed for cleaning with a twist of the bayonet-locked grille. The D3700 S is identical to the D 700 except for a silent, recessed on/off switch.
