Siemens Sitral C4 Mixing Console
This mixing console was developed in the late 1970s for TV and radio stations and was specifically designed for music recordings in OB vans with limited space. There is little need to elaborate on the quality of Siemens and Sitral technology. The C4P is a modular, analog console with high-quality transformers and discretely designed amplifier stages – typical of Siemens and Sitral technology of that era. In terms of sound and component quality, it is in no way inferior to a vintage Neve or API console. The frame parts are interlocked, allowing you to build, for example, a session desk and arrange console elements on the left and right. MASTER, group and mono channels can be inserted into any slots, similar to an API 500 system. Perfect for the requirements of today’s studios and workflows. Screens, keyboards, and controllers can thus be positioned in the stereo sweet spot while still allowing you to reach the most important functions with your arms without changing your seating position. Unlike earlier Sitral consoles such as the M444, which only had a mono bus and very limited routing options, this console is truly suitable for mixing and not just as a sound tool for recording.

Condition:
We initially offered the console in three pricing tiers, but have now decided to sell it in at least functional condition. Option 1 below is no longer available. After repair, the console will be fully functional. VCA subgroups can be optionally implemented. We also offer a complete overhaul of all strips. The price of only €240 per strip is more symbolic, reflecting our wish to sell a console that will provide the buyer with many years of satisfaction.

Anyone looking for a truly rare, analog, discretely designed mixing console in a fully functional condition – without having to install a 2–4 m wide desk – will find here one of the very few available options. In this compact size and with the offered flexibility (detachable frame), there is nothing comparable from Neve, EMT or Studer. Only the Neumann N20 would serve as a reference. A fully equipped Neumann 20/4/4 console is priced at least twice, more likely three times as high – without offering better features or sound quality than this Siemens console.
