Siemens Sitral C4 Mixing Console

This mixing console was developed in the late 1970s for TV and radio stations, specifically designed for music recording in OB vans with limited space. There's little need to elaborate on the quality of Siemens and Sitral technology. The C4P is a modular analog console featuring high-quality transformers and discreet amplifier stages – typical of Siemens and Sitral engineering from that era. In terms of sound and component quality, it stands on par with a vintage Neve or API console. The frame parts are interlocking, allowing, for example, the construction of a session desk with console sections arranged on the left and right, provided an extension cable set is used. Unlike earlier Sitral consoles like the M444, which had only a mono bus and very limited routing capabilities, this mixer is genuinely suitable for mixing and not just as a sound tool for recording.

Condition:
Overhauling this mixing console is no small task and cannot be compared to servicing a STUDER 962 or 269. Due to its many features, there are more points of failure, and roughly twice as many module slots need servicing. Therefore, we offer this mixing console in three pricing levels.

1. As-is, untested with power supply: €7,500.00
2. Serviced but not fully recapped, etc.: €11,900.00
3. All channels repaired and overhauled, electrolytics replaced, faders and switches refurbished, pots in best possible condition: €18,000.00
