VT7xL rack U73 | U73 - empty

This is a Vintagetools VT7xL rack prepared for two of the legendary TAB U73 or U73b tube compressors. The housing is built in 19" 4U and is manufactured to a very high quality. The rack contains various modifications for the tube modules. These must therefore be sent to us:

1. Mains input transformer specially manufactured for this rack with 238V/115V input voltage (according to customer requirements) and stable 220V output voltage. At that time, the devices in the V7x series were operated with 220V mains voltage, while today's power networks often supply 235V - 239V. Throttling to 220V already reduces the tubes and ensures a sound with less distortion, or the original sound of the device.
2. VU meter for gain reduction
3. Six different release times can be selected using a rotary switch. Also for the U73 without “b”
4. Six different attack times for U73 and U73b as modifications.
5. Input gain
6. Output PAD
7. Bass Filter: The bass component bypasses the compressor/limiter circuit
8. Push: Threshold function. The further you turn it up, the more signal goes into the compression branch.
9. Red LED background lighting for the vintagetools logo. Intensity adjustable via potentiometer.

The two tube modules shown in the pictures are not included in this offer! The price is for the empty case with power supplies, VU meters, rotary switches and the various modifications described above if you send in your working modules.
