VT7xL rack V76 | U73 - empty

This is a Vintagetools VT7xL rack prepared for a TAB V76 tube amplifier. and a U73 or U73b(t) tube compressor. The ideal channel strip for vintage recordings. The housing is built in 19" 4U and is manufactured to a very high quality. The rack includes the following extras:

1. Phantom power module with 230V input and stable, slowly rising 48V DC output voltage for condenser microphones. The slow increase protects the V76 input transformer.
2. Gain control or damping via a potentiometer at the output for each channel. This allows saturation effects, including tube distortion, to be achieved.
3. Mains input transformer specially manufactured for this rack with 238V/115V input voltage (according to customer requirements) and stable 220V output voltage. At that time, the devices in the V7x series were operated with 220V mains voltage, while today's power networks often supply 235V - 239V. Throttling to 220V already reduces the tubes and ensures a sound with less distortion, or the original sound of the device.

5. Six different release times can be selected using a rotary switch. Also for the U73 without “b”
