Genelec 1037B Active 3-Way Centre Studio Monitor

The Genelec 1037B is a professional three-way active studio monitor designed for medium-sized control rooms, broadcast studios, post-production facilities and mastering applications. This single unit is offered as a centre-channel monitor and is not a stereo pair.

Its integrated tri-amplified design combines a 12-inch woofer, 5-inch midrange driver and 1-inch metal-dome tweeter with dedicated power amplifiers and an active crossover. Genelec’s Directivity Control Waveguide provides controlled dispersion, precise imaging and a consistent frequency balance in demanding acoustic environments.

The rotatable midrange and tweeter assembly allows the monitor to be used vertically or horizontally. Room-response controls permit adjustment to different installations, including free-standing placement and flush mounting in a studio wall.

Manufactured between 1995 and 2003, the 1037B belongs to Genelec’s classic generation of large-format analogue studio monitors.
