VTCR TAB V300 / TELEFUNKEN V600
19" Racks for V300/V600 cassettes
This vintagetools Custom Rack (VTCR) is designed for TAB V300- and Telefunken V600-series modules, including the Telefunken V672 and V676a, TAB V376 and V372, and many other compatible cassette modules.
These modules use a rather complex locking mechanism. To retain the original mounting system while ensuring that all cassette front panels sit perfectly flush with the rack, we integrate a carefully modified original 3U subframe into each new VTCR enclosure. This combines authentic mechanical mounting with the stability, appearance and connectivity of a modern rack system.
Each rack includes our internal 24 V and 48 V power supply and can accommodate up to eight cassette modules. The front panel can also be prepared for additional toggle switches and potentiometers. A Telefunken V672, for example, can be equipped with adjustable gain and individually switchable phantom power.
The enclosures are powder-coated and available in the original Siemens-style grey or in black, providing these historic broadcast modules with a practical and visually refined new home.
