Merging Technologies HAPI MKI with AD8D and DA8 Cards plus Breakout Cables

Offered for sale is a first-generation Merging Technologies HAPI equipped with an AD8D input card, a separate DA8 output card and an extensive breakout cable set.

The AD8D card provides eight remotely controllable microphone/line inputs with A/D conversion as well as eight analog direct outputs. The direct outputs carry the signals from the microphone preamplifiers and can be used for parallel analog signal routing. Features include switchable 48 V phantom power, polarity reversal, high-pass filter and remotely adjustable gain.

The additionally installed DA8 card provides eight independent and freely routable analog line outputs with D/A conversion. Both cards support sample rates of up to 192 kHz.

The HAPI base unit also provides RAVENNA/AES67 network connectivity, eight AES/EBU channels, ADAT or S/PDIF, word clock input and output, synchronization connections and two headphone outputs.
